NemoSens
NemoSens is a compact and affordable autonomous underwater vehicle designed for scientific, industrial and military applications up to 300m depth. It is lightweight with customizable payloads allowing for one-man deployments for any mission. This open architecture lends itself to easy integration and customizable navigation algorithms including DVL, INS, GPS.
The NemoSens can follow a programmed route for up to 10 hours at 2-6 knots. The acoustic communication between the AUV and surface communication module allows for real-time remote tracking of the micro-AUV’s position, depth, pitch and roll. To maintain its compact size, the micro-AUV can accommodate 2 payloads at a time. However, up to 10 micro AUV’s can be synced to operate in swarm mode to cover a larger survey.
