BSI announces expansion of AUV line with RTsys

The scientific instrument company is increasing it’s environmental surveying capabilities by adding their UV sensor payloads to RTsys’ turnkey micro autonomous underwater vehicles, the NemoSens and COMET 300.

March 2025 – Biospherical instruments (BSI inc.), a manufacturer of state-of-the-art microsensors, is excited to announce that they are now an official reseller and distributor of the RTsys NemoSens µAUV and COMET 300. The environmental monitoring companies signed a three-year contract to enable RTsys to expand their AUV availability and reach new customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The French manufacturer, RTsys, pursues innovative solutions to better understand the ocean through underwater acoustics and robotics. They reach a breadth of sectors from passive acoustic monitoring, mine sweeping and anti-submarine warfare. BSI is thrilled to leverage their strong distribution network and regional expertise to bring RTsys’ powerful autonomous technology to North American markets to increase environmental monitoring, undersea survey, research and defense. Under the terms of the agreement, RTsys will use their distribution network to bring BSI’s instruments to a European audience, through the help of their sister company, Neotek.
