BioMAST
BioMAST (Biospherical Mount for advanced solar technologies) is a heavy-duty mechanical high tolerance portable mast. The array mounting system remains military grade and transferable through its lightweight aluminum construction. It has payload lift capabilities of 25 lbs within minimal movement at any height.
The mounting system is well accompanied by our ground UV radiometers (GUVis) to collect reliable data from a wide breath of the light spectrum. The BioMAST and GUV coupled system is currently deployed in Antarctica as part of NOAA’s Antarctic UV Monitoring Network.
