BioGPS is a GPS receiver that is typically mounted alongside the surface reference sensor of microradiometer-based instrument systems. The receiver is electrically integrated so that its data is merged into the data stream of the C-OPS providing seamless recording of GPS location information to the communication stream during a vertical cast, or while a vessel is underway and surface reference data is being acquired. BioGPS easily pairs with the system reference radiometer and is fully compatible with the BioSHADE accessory.
