20 October 2009: Data from the
UV Monitoring Network were accepted for submission to the data center of the Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (
NDACC). According to the acceptance letter, the decision was based on BSI's demonstrated expertise in spectral UV irradiance measurements, and the value of the existing database. The reviewers acknowledged that the data from these instruments are close to NDACC specifications, that the instruments are situated at key geographic locations, and there already is a hugely valuable time series of data available from them.
