Wavelengths

These are the wavelengths and wavelength coverage regions of the optical channels that are normally available for our various instruments including:Partial selection of available channelsPartial selection of available channels

The table below shows the center wavelengths we offer. The nominal bandwidth of these channels is 10 nm. Filters used are specified for high levels of blocking, and are assembled to minimize any fluorescence. Filters are typically "hard coat" or ion-deposited technology, known for its great resistance to moisture, low temperature coefficient, and long term stability.

Primary Wavelengths [nm]
305*     510       694
313 520   710
320 532 765
330 555 780, 820
340 560 875, 940
380 565 1020
395 589 1245 (InGaAs detector — higher NEP)
412 625 1640 (InGaAs detector — higher NEP)
443 665 LuChl (See Natural Fluorescence)
465 670 PAR (See PAR)

* Note: The 305 nm wider bandwidth is optimized for greatest sensitivity to the ozone cutoff region.
