Photosynthetically Active (sometimes Available) Radiation (PAR) is most often measured over the spectral region from 400 to 700 nm using sensors with a flat quantum response (responds equally to all wavelengths).  Crosses present the measured response of a PAR sensor (in this case, a QSP-2100).  The “boxcar” and the trapezoid represent the ideal response.
