BIC and BIS Low-cost Multichannel Radiometers

Biospherical Instruments’ new BIC and BIS multichannel profiling radiometers are scaled-down versions of our widely used profiling radiometers. These instruments may be purchased for measuring cosine irradiance (BIC) or scalar irradiance (BIS) in four wavebands selected from over 20 typically available filter-photodetectors. In addition to irradiance, the instruments can be  optionally equipped with sensors for water temperature and pressure/depth. Compact and lightweight, the instruments feature a dynamic-range greater than 5 decades and are suitable for a wide variety of aquatic applications, including general purpose irradiance profiling, spectral transparency, or deployment in shallow ponds and streambeds.

BIC and BIS low-cost multichannel radiometers can be paired with a radiometrically matching reference sensor.
